Archiving Policy

Sintesa Journal of Islamic Economy, Law, and Education (SJEILE) ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through reliable digital archiving systems. The journal is committed to safeguarding scholarly works and maintaining permanent access to all published articles.

SJEILE utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) for electronic backup and digital preservation. This service is developed by the Public Knowledge Project to support journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS) in ensuring long-term digital preservation.

The PKP Preservation Network operates using the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) principle, which provides:

  • Decentralized and distributed preservation across multiple locations;
  • Secure and permanent access to journal content;
  • Preservation of the authentic and original version of published articles.

Through this system, SJEILE guarantees that its content remains accessible even in the event of technical failures, platform discontinuation, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In addition to PKP PN, SJEILE supports broader dissemination and redundancy by allowing indexing and archiving in institutional repositories and other recognized platforms.
